Easter Dinner at Our House

We had a great time of worship at our church on Easter Sunday. Since we weren't having services on Sunday night, we decided to invite Jason's side of the family over for Easter supper. I made roast, carrots, and potatoes in the slow cooker. We really ought to do it more often. Jack loved having people over to his house.

My first attempt a homemade cheesecake. It was pretty good if I do say so myself.


After dinner, we broke out DJ Hero.


Jack enjoyed showing his train table to Pa!



Then he wanted to help Uncle Matt play some guitar!


Dinner and video games were fun. We put Jack to bed and then Matt, Shannon, and Brittany stayed for a while and we had a great chance to talk. We rarely get to spend time with them ... so it was great! We absolutely love having our extended families so close! We are blessed!
