Pippaw's Birthday Celebration

On Saturday, my (Jodi's) side of the family all got together at my mom and dad's house to celebrate my dad's birthday! It was the perfect opportunity to show off Jack's new haircut. We had a great time! The weather was beautiful, which meant we actually got to play outside ... great news for Jack who has had a serious case of cabin fever! Jack had a great time running around with his cousins Autumn, Amber, and Allie.

Jack loves to play with the rope on Pippaw's flag pole! Pippaw says that it means he may be an upright bass player one day!



Jack and Allie are almost exactly 1 year apart! I think they will be great friends as they get older! They are starting to interact more and more at each family get-together.



The boy loves sticks for some reason! He finds the biggest ones and carries them around. He tried to take this one down the slide, but it wouldn't fit through the doorway so it snapped in half. But that didn't bother him. It just meant he had two sticks to carry around!

Jack was getting tired by this point and I guess he thought it was more comfortable to read the book laying down!


Reading books (or maybe working a puzzle) with Nonna ...


We had so much fun! I do realize that we need to start taking more pictures than just pictures of Jack! I promise there were other people at the party. To prove it, I snatched this super-cute photo from my mom's Facebook page!
