A New Year ... A New 'Do

Jack's hair has been out of control for months now. But it had gotten to the point where it was in his eyes so something needed to be done! Jason was sure we could cut it with the clippers ourselves. I wasn't so sure, but I agreed. So New Year's morning, we decided to try. (That way if we really messed it up, we'd have a day to go get it cut before church on Sunday!

Surprisingly ... it went very well. Once he got used to the sound of the clippers, he did great as long as we kept him distracted with snacks, books, and toys! I think Jason did a great job!

Here's a reminder of what it looked like before ...

We cut it in our master bath tub to make the cleanup easier.

And here it is after ... He looks like a little boy ... instead of a baby! It's going to take some getting used to for this momma!

From the back ... after a bath ...

Messy ... but cute!

It really is a relief to have it shorter. I'm sure it feels better for him. And I'm thrilled that it was not devastating like his first "official" haircut was.
